This Privacy Policy explains how SetupBots LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use SetupBots.com, SUPER/SETUP, courses, dashboard, checkout, installer resources, Agent Intelligence API, emails, SMS, community features, and related services.
We may collect account information such as name, email, phone number, username or display name, authentication identifiers, account status, and profile settings. We may collect billing and purchase information such as Stripe customer/payment metadata, order history, subscription status, coupon usage, refunds, taxes, and entitlement status. SetupBots does not store full card numbers.
We may collect product usage information such as courses opened, lessons viewed, progress, access status, dashboard activity, downloads, API key actions, installer-resource activity, saved/wishlist items, support messages, and communications preferences.
We may collect API usage information such as token prefix, plan, scopes, route, request method, status, weight, timing, query hash, query preview, lesson slug, result count, IP hash, user-agent hash, and metadata needed for rate limits, abuse prevention, debugging, and support. We should avoid logging raw API keys.
We may collect community information such as posts, comments, reactions, reviews, reports, actor labels, moderation status, hover-card stats, private lesson feedback, corrections, confusion reports, broken-link reports, media issues, and suggestions.
You are responsible for deciding what information to submit to SetupBots, third-party AI tools, installed agents, community spaces, support channels, and API workflows. Do not submit regulated, sensitive, protected, client, employee, patient, financial, education, children's, or confidential data unless you have the rights, notices, permissions, safeguards, and legal basis required for that use.
We use information to:
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor shown at checkout. SetupBots does not store full card numbers. We may use Supabase for authentication, magic links, profiles, entitlements, and dashboard access. We use your email to send receipts, sign-in links, access updates, and important product notices.
Payment processors, authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, email providers, SMS providers, fraud-prevention providers, and other service providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Those providers may operate in other states or countries.
We may share information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve SetupBots. These may include providers for hosting, authentication, database, storage, payments, analytics, email, SMS, monitoring, checkout, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and support, such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, PostHog or analytics tools, Twilio or SMS providers, and similar vendors.
SetupBots logs API usage to enforce rate limits, detect abuse, debug issues, protect the knowledge base, and support users. Query text may be stored in preview form and/or hashed. IP addresses and user agents may be stored as hashes for abuse detection. We may use logs to restrict, suspend, revoke, or deny access where needed under the Terms.
Public posts, comments, course reviews, reactions, actor labels, badges, and public profile/hover-card stats may be visible to other users. Do not post information you want to keep private. Private lesson feedback is intended for SetupBots/admin review and product improvement, and may be used to improve course material, API responses, support, and product quality.
If you provide a phone number and opt in, SetupBots may send recurring automated marketing text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
We may send transactional and service-related emails, including receipts, login links, account notices, security alerts, policy updates, access changes, subscription notices, API/key notices, and support replies. These service communications are part of operating SetupBots and may not always include an unsubscribe option. Marketing emails, where sent, may be opted out of using unsubscribe links where available.
SetupBots may use cookies, local storage, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember cart/session state, measure traffic, attribute ads, detect abuse, improve conversion, and improve product quality. You can control cookies through browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
We retain information for as long as needed to operate SetupBots, provide access, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce policies, maintain security, prevent abuse, keep accounting records, and preserve legitimate business records. Public community content may remain visible until removed, hidden, or deleted. API logs, audit records, purchase records, coupon records, refund records, support records, and security records may be retained for business, accounting, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, legal, and operational reasons.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for our own services. You understand that no website, API, software system, internet transmission, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, API keys, devices, backups, third-party credentials, and local development environments.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or account closure by contacting SetupBots. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, or other controls over certain personal information. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, security needs, fraud-prevention needs, accounting obligations, dispute records, and operational retention requirements.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using unsubscribe links where available. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
SetupBots will respond to applicable privacy rights requests as required by law, but SetupBots does not promise that using SetupBots makes you, your business, your customers, your website, your app, your AI-agent workflow, or your data practices compliant with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, PCI DSS, SOC 2, FERPA, GLBA, state privacy laws, international privacy laws, accessibility laws, advertising rules, platform policies, or any other legal, regulatory, contractual, or industry framework.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of SetupBots and any third-party tools complies with laws that apply to you, your users, your customers, your industry, and your jurisdiction. Unless SetupBots signs a separate written data processing agreement, business associate agreement, or similar contract with you, you should not use SetupBots as a regulated-data processor or compliance vendor for sensitive regulated workloads.
SetupBots is not intended for children under 13 and paid services are intended for adults. Do not use SetupBots if you are not legally permitted to agree to these policies.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, regulation, court order, government request, payment dispute, fraud investigation, security investigation, or to protect SetupBots, users, third parties, or the public.
We may use account, payment, location, IP, device, API, and usage information to screen for fraud, abuse, sanctions, export-control restrictions, restricted jurisdictions, payment risk, scraping, policy violations, or security threats. We may restrict or deny access where needed to comply with law or protect SetupBots, users, third parties, or the public.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Updated versions will be posted with a new effective date.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where privacy laws in another jurisdiction require otherwise.
